Murder Suspect Calls Cops Over Cold McDonald’s Fries, Gets Arrested
A fugitive murder suspect practically delivered himself to police after calling 911 to complain about cold McDonald’s fries, leading officers straight to him, authorities say.
The bizarre incident unfolded when the man got into a heated argument with McDonald’s staff over his order. Upset about the temperature of his fries, he demanded police involvement—and officers responded to the disturbance.
But when they arrived, things took an unexpected turn.
Bodycam footage shows the suspect arguing loudly with employees, insisting he was being “disrespected.” Officers tried to calm him down, but when they asked for his ID, he became evasive and visibly nervous.
Moments later, a warrant check revealed the truth:
He was wanted for murder in another county.
As soon as officers informed him of the warrant, he bolted out of the restaurant and attempted to flee across the parking lot. The chase didn’t last long—police tackled him within seconds and placed him under arrest.
Customers inside the restaurant watched in disbelief as the scene unfolded.
Authorities say the suspect will now face murder charges in addition to resisting arrest. One officer summed it up perfectly:
“If he hadn’t called us about the fries, we might not have found him today.”
