Cop Loses It During Road Rage Incident

A police officer is under internal investigation after a shocking road-rage encounter was caught on bodycam and by witnesses on the side of a busy highway, authorities confirmed.

The incident began when the off-duty officer allegedly became enraged after another driver accidentally cut him off in traffic. Instead of letting it go, witnesses say the officer followed the vehicle for several miles, honking, yelling, and driving aggressively.

When the cars finally stopped at a red light, things exploded.

Bodycam footage from responding on-duty officers shows the off-duty cop storming toward the other driver’s window, shouting and pounding on the glass while flashing his badge. The driver, clearly terrified, called 911, reporting that “a cop is threatening me on the road.”

Units arrived moments later to find the officer still yelling and refusing commands to step back.

The video captures the stunned reactions of the on-duty officers as they separate the two men. The off-duty officer continues to argue and even tries to justify his behavior—until supervisors arrive and immediately place him in handcuffs.

He was detained, disarmed, and transported for questioning.

The department has confirmed he has been placed on administrative leave pending a full review, calling the incident “unacceptable behavior that does not reflect our standards.”

Officials say charges could follow depending on the outcome of the investigation.
