Passengers on a cross-country flight witnessed pure chaos when a woman became violently unruly mid-air, leading to multiple assaults and an emergency diversion.
According to airline officials, the disturbance began shortly after takeoff when the woman — already acting agitated — refused to follow basic safety instructions. When flight attendants attempted to calm her, she allegedly shoved one, slapped another, and threw a beverage at a third.
Passengers say the woman then spiraled into a full meltdown, screaming at staff, pacing the aisle, and yelling that the crew was “ruining her life.” Several travelers stood up to help keep the aisle clear while attendants tried to de-escalate the situation.
Bodycam footage from responding airport police — once the plane made an emergency landing — shows the woman continuing to shout as officers boarded. She insisted she “did nothing wrong” despite dozens of witnesses recounting the assaults.
