Cops Find Hidden Camera in Pedophile’s Airbnb Bathroom

Police in a suburban neighborhood uncovered a disturbing setup after responding to a guest’s complaint at an Airbnb rental earlier this week. According to investigators, a visitor staying at the home noticed something unusual about a small “air freshener” device positioned directly across from the bathroom shower.

When officers arrived, they inspected the device and discovered it was, in fact, a hidden camera—carefully modified and connected to a wireless transmitter. A deeper search of the property led police to a locked drawer in the host’s bedroom containing multiple storage drives, recordings, and additional covert cameras.

Detectives say the homeowner had been secretly filming guests for months, with footage dating back several stays.

The suspect was arrested on the spot and now faces multiple charges, including unlawful surveillance and possession of illicit recordings. Airbnb has since removed the listing and is cooperating fully with the investigation.

Police are urging anyone who stayed at the property recently to come forward as they work to identify and notify all potential victims.
