Unhinged Couple Attack Police in Hotel Room

A late-night welfare check at a local hotel turned into a violent confrontation after an allegedly unhinged couple launched a chaotic attack on responding officers.

According to police, staff at the hotel called 911 after guests reported screaming, crashing noises, and what sounded like a heated altercation coming from one of the rooms. When officers arrived and knocked on the door, the situation immediately spiraled out of control.

Bodycam footage reportedly shows the couple opening the door already irate. Before officers could even explain why they were there, the man allegedly charged forward, swinging wildly. As officers moved to subdue him, the woman joined in—shoving, clawing, and grabbing at police while yelling incoherently.

The struggle spilled back into the room, where officers had to wrestle both suspects to the ground amid overturned furniture and broken belongings. Police say the pair continued to fight even while being restrained, kicking and attempting to bite officers.

Backup units arrived shortly after, helping gain control of the scene and place both individuals in handcuffs. Paramedics evaluated the couple, who appeared to be under the influence of unknown substances, police said.

Both suspects were taken to jail and now face a list of charges, including assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, and disorderly conduct.

No officers suffered serious injuries. The investigation into what sparked the disturbance is ongoing.
