Robber Jumps Off Bridge to Escape Police

In a wild and dangerous chase caught on bodycam, police say a suspected robber made a desperate leap off a bridge in a last-ditch attempt to escape arrest.

The chaos began after officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at a nearby convenience store. When patrol units spotted the suspect’s vehicle speeding away, a high-speed pursuit ensued — weaving through traffic and ending at a bridge over a local river.
