Moments After Body is Found in This Trainee Cop’s House

Police say a routine welfare check at the home of a law-enforcement trainee turned into a stunning investigation after officers discovered a body inside the residence.

According to officials, the trainee—who had recently begun the academy—called 911 claiming he returned home to find “something seriously wrong.” When responding officers entered the house, they immediately secured the scene and removed the trainee for questioning.

Detectives quickly realized this was no simple medical emergency. The trainee appeared shaken, repeatedly insisting he had no idea how the victim ended up inside his home. Neighbors told officers they heard no disturbances earlier in the day.
