Drunk Woman Has No Idea She Just Killed 2 Kids

A late-night collision in a quiet suburban neighborhood has left a community devastated — and the driver responsible appeared to have no idea what she had done.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a severe crash involving a minivan carrying a family and a sedan that had blown through a stop sign at high speed. When deputies arrived, they found the sedan’s driver — a heavily intoxicated woman — stumbling around the roadway, confused and insisting she had “only hit a curb.”

Bodycam footage shows officers repeatedly trying to explain the seriousness of the situation as she slurred her words, laughed, and tried to walk away from the scene. She allegedly asked officers why “so many police” were there and claimed she was “fine to drive.”

Moments later, officers informed her that the crash had caused catastrophic injuries to the children in the other vehicle. The woman froze, staring blankly as the reality slowly set in. According to police, she insisted she “didn’t see anyone” and kept asking if she was “being pranked.”

Witnesses say the minivan was tossed nearly twenty feet from the road. The children’s parents, who survived, were rushed to the hospital in shock.

The driver was arrested at the scene and now faces multiple felony charges, including DUI manslaughter and reckless endangerment.
